Letting Go
My Grandad was a passionate craftsman who spent countless hours tinkering in his garage and creating things.
He passed away twenty years ago, leaving behind a treasure trove of memories and materials.
Only recently has my Nan, his widowed wife, allowed my dad and I to clear his garage out.
In this photo essay, I document the process, sorting through his belongings, and honouring his legacy.
It was a bittersweet experience, filled with nostalgia, sadness, and gratitude.
I hope these photos capture some of the emotions and stories that his garage held.
